Hello! I'm Jessica, and I'm the Director and Teacher at Refuge Farm School.
The Full Story
My family moved out to south Paola on a 40 acre farm. We have started raising livestock for the purpose of regenerating the land and to become more self sustained. For the past ten years, I've been dedicated to working with preschool-age kids, and I absolutely love it. Since I was a child myself, I've dreamed of creating a place like Refuge Farm School, where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

I feel incredibly grateful to be part of these young minds' journey and witness their growth every day. Seeing the joy and excitement in their eyes when they make new discoveries or overcome challenges is truly rewarding. Our goal at Refuge Farm School is to shape the future of these amazing children, instilling in them a love for learning and a strong foundation of knowledge, while ensuring their identity is anchored in Jesus Christ.
Mission
At Refuge Farm School, we understand the importance of providing children with a holistic education. That's why we focus on giving them time to develop essential skills, explore nature, immerse themselves in literature, and play with others. We also believe in building character and introducing children to Jesus Christ, their heavenly Father with a gospel centered focus.
We will be using My Father's World curriculum and encourage children to actively participate in their education, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
Vision
As a hybrid non-accredited private school, we value the partnership between parents and our dedicated team. Together, we'll embark on your child's educational journey, ensuring their growth and success.
Welcome to Refuge Farm School!
Together, let's make a positive impact on the lives of these incredible children.
